Hideo Kojima took the stage at the Tokyo Game Show to talk about upcoming the Konami releases that are coming to the PlayStation Vita including the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and the Zone of Enders HD Collection. We already knew as of E3 that the collections would be coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but now you'll be able to play both on the go with your Vita.
The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will include Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The Zone of the Enders HD Collection will include Zone of the Enders and Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner.
If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say that Tranfarring will be enabled with both of these titles between the Vita and PS3 versions. No release date was announced for either title, so we're not sure if they will be launch titles. As always, when we get more information on these titles we'll be sure to update you.

Yeah. When I saw the HD versions coming out, I thought "Where the heck is Metal Gear Solid?!?!?!" For reals. Thats what I want to see.

For everyone who keep on saying why MGS4 is not part of the collections will here is a shocker 4 you guys, its are ready on the PS3!!!! This is a remake HD collections, key word remake which is why they are bring two games from the PS2 and one from the PSP to the newer generation consoles. P.S. to people who keep saying why not make MGS4 for the 360, that will never happen because it can not handle it!!!!

They should have included the GameCube remake of the first one with added shaders, and enhanced lighting. And like someone above me mentioned...they should have also included MGS4 for Xbox fans!

Why arent they releasing the orignal MGS in the collection? imo thats the best one.
Maybe im reading it wrong? I honestly think these guys dropped the ball by making a collection without the two bookends in the series. MGS and MGS4 are easily the best in the series...
oh well.

I know the Vita has great graphics but can we really consider it an HD collection if it's on there?
