That dissolute, drunken son of a gun above is the one and only Max Payne! It's a detail from a just-released Max Payne 3 poster Rockstar just sent over.
We learned yesterday that the Max Payne 3 release will be in March 2012. This coming Wednesday, we'll get to see Max Payne in action, when the first trailer for the game is released. Tune back in to G4tv.com on Wednesday around noon.

awesome cover the other one was cool 2 with the bald head, but people don't exactly equate max payne with bald so in my opinion i would stick with this cover.

MP1 & MP2 were NYC centric.Dark, gritty, witty dialogue.Already, with just the poster it seems like Max went freelance from the NYPD Homicide unit & dropped into Cuba.I'm curious IF this ties into the struggles of MP1 & MP2 at all.

not really excited for this they missed their mark by like 10 years. Plus I hate it when they change the main character in games and make them older. They should be untouchable this is fiction not real life Mario is older than Max and he hasn't aged a bit.

Just off the poster, I'm really looking forward to this game.
Hats off to their art team!! From GTA, Red Dead, LA Noir and now Max Payne, their artwork always remain gritty and realistic. So much you forget it's a game at times.

GTA has become very stale in my opinion, im looking forward on seeing what rockstar puts forth with the new max payne i hope its more of a challange then the first two and much longer.. im not jumping out to buy this game for multiplayer but for a true noir istic experience.
