inFamous 2's Update 3 Out Now, Adds UGC Bosses And More

What's in a name? Not much in this particular case. The newly released "Update 3" from Sucker Punch's super-powered open-world action game inFamous 2 doesn't sound like much, but it adds a lot to the game's decimated New Orleans wannabe, New Marais.

All of the new content is focused on the game's user-generated content features, with the biggest addition being that players can now make use of the game's Devourer and Titan bosses in custom-made missions. They're subject to the same rules and controls that govern the rest of the game's AI, so you can make them do quite a bit.

Also new to the UGC mode is a new Mission Linking feature, which allows players to connect one created mission with another. This is based on fan feedback Sucker Punch picked up in the days following the game's June 2011 release. There's also a new Mission Review feature and a handful of other tweaks.

Devourer custom missions though. Sweet. This should hold fans over until the game's vampire-focused Festival of Blood DLC is released next month.
