Deus Ex: Human Revolution Ranked As The Top Selling Video Game In August By NPD Analysis

According to the NPD analysis firm, Deus Ex: Human Revolution was the top selling video game in August despite being in the market for just five days before the end of the August reporting period. The firm expects that Madden NFL 12 will take the top spot for September. Not only that, but they blame the bulk of losuy software sales in August on the fact that Madden was released in the September reporting period instead of August's this year.

NPD Analyst Anita Frazier also mentioned that sales of NCAA Football '12 were better this month which could be an "an indication of Madden fans looking to get their football fix elsewhere due to the delay in the release of that title.”

I mean top selling game in August isn't that big of an achivement. It was the only anticipated game coming out for that month.

Now let's see who will have the top selling game for the year!!

Did they forget about gears of war 3. Thats gonna have the most sales in september. Soo many people pre-ordered that game that they're running out of copies in some stores.

Srsly ... htf is blops still selling like this ? You'd think people would b smart and go play cod4 and mw2 to prep for mw3 but no , they want bad hit detection, second chance and bad map design.

i was behind some kid at walmart trying to buy Deus ex, he didnt have ID and the lady wouldnt sell it to him, I felt bad for the little punk. owell it'll still be around in five years or so
