Cheats and Walkthroughs
According to Sony, the game that I've been waiting for six years for, The Last Guardian, is not scheduled to make an appearance at this year's Tokyo Game Show on September 15-18. They announced the sad news via the PlayStation Blog, saying, "We can assure you that Ueda-san and the rest of the development team are hard at work to bring his lofty vision to life and deliver the very best gaming experience possible."
What does that mean? We haven't seen anything from this game since after last years Tokyo Game Show, and even then all we got was screenshots. It wasn't at E3 the past two years, and we haven't even heard any news on the game in quite some time. With the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection coming out this month, you'd think this would be the perfect time to show off some new The Last Guardian stuff while the fans are more hyped than ever.
As it stands, as someone who has waited such a long time for this game, I'm almost to the point where I'm losing interest. Is it in development hell? Is the vision too extreme to bring to life on this generation of consoles? My guess is that they're going to hold on to this game as PS4 launch title.
Why do you think that The Last Guardian is taking so long, and does it upset you that it won't be shown at TGS this year, again?
