Capcom is releasing an updated version of the Nintendo Wii's Monster Hunter Tri for the Nintendo 3DS and calling it Monster Hunter Tri-3G. Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu confirmed the release, saying that local wireless has been confirmed, so you'll be able to play with friends, but they didn't go in to how the online mode will work.
Monster Hunter Tri-3G will have 12 categories of weapons, and, according to Siliconera, the game will have have 12 categories of weapons, water levels, and you'll be able to take advantage of the bottom 3DS screen by touching it which will allow you to automatically turn towards a monster. Also, Capcom has upgraded the amount of content that will be available in the game to "enormous" extremes.
Monster Hunter Tri-3G is currently scheduled for a 2011 release. With this and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3D I'm getting a bit more excited about the 3DS' lineup. You?
