If you didn't play Housemaque's 2010 PlayStation Network release Dead Nation then you missed out on something special. It's hardly the first twin-stick zombie shooter ever released, but it's a damn pretty one, and well-put-together too. Those who have been itching for more will get their way soon with the upcoming "Road of Devastation" DLC release.
Very few details are offered in the announcement post on PlayStation Blog, though fans can expect to find new enemies, weapons and locations when they download the pack. There's no price or release date, but more information will be coming "soon."
"Road of Devastation" opens with players "waking up in a laboratory with only one way out. Outside the door you're presented with a choice -- a crossroads leading to three different paths, each with their own unique environments."
Following all three of these paths successfully will eventually lead to "a startling revelation." Hopefully it's a teaser for more DLC. Any excuse to kill some more zombies in Dead Nation's beautiful environments.
