Resistance 3 is only just arriving in stores today, but there's already some downloadable content for you to look forward to. Sony has confirmed (via Eurogamer) that the Survival DLC pack will be arriving next month, adding a new mode to the game.
Invasion is a multiplayer-focused addition that puts humans against Chimera in a struggle to capture and hold multiple control points. The release also includes a multiplayer skin pack and an XMB theme. You'll be able to buy it on the PlayStation Network for $3.99 starting October 4.

Getting a new game mode, (which probably was ready when the game went gold, but want more money, like every other game) new skins, and a theme for only $3.99 is a good deal. Better than most DLC available now-a-days.

this "invasion" mode sounds alot like "skirmish" in R2. wish they just kept it as skirmish...invasion just sounds...like just another mode.. However, I'll take another mode over just another map any day. R3 feels alot like RFOM which is a major plus, R2 just felt too much like a call of duty game for my liking

This sounds revolutionary, about as revolutionary as the rest of Resistance 3's multiplayer. Sorry if I sound like a grouch, Im not thrilled by this news.
