PAX Prime 2011 was gamers' last chance to get their hands on all the big titles coming this year. As the last major convention of the year, it was also the last time to cosplay. Knowing the cosplay clock was ticking, gamers came out in full force with hundreds of cosplayers in attendance. Left 4 Dead characters, anime characters, and Wrex from Mass Effect were some of my favorites. Plus, Master Chief kept showing up in other group cosplays.

I don't think that developer booth people should be considered cosplay. Or at the very least they should be in another category. Devs have money and special effects artists to make tech spec costumes. People that make their own costumes are good but can almost never be as good as a Dev costume.
That being said, there was a lot of really good cosplay this year at PAX!! My favorite was the girls of Mortal Kombat!!
