A new trailer for the indie game Hawken has been released by Adhesive that shows off some of the first and third person gameplay which you'll be using in upcoming the mech combat title. The trailer also gives us a bit of background on the story and teases the setting of the game. The first person view is absolutely incredible, and really seems to put you in to the seat of a giant mech, and honestly, that's the best kind of seat. Check out the video below.
Hawken is in development for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, but currently has no set release date. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later, because seriously, how awesome does this look already?

I want these guys (Adhesive) to remake the old PC mech game, G-Nome, for multiplatform.
That game was BEAST & was definitely WAYYY ahead of it's time.
Switchable 1st-3rd person perspective, multiple camera angle toggles, LOADS of mechs (H.A.W.C.s - Heavy Armored Weapons Chassis) & an awesome story to boot.
Who remembers playing G-Nome? (g4wd..I hated Sheridan so much..that traitor)

HA i'd love to see that show up under the indie tab on Live. it would certainly up the ante for the rest of them.
