Borderlands 2 assets are more rare than gold on the moon, with Gearbox only providing us with three screenshots and roughly 20 seconds of footage from the game during gamescom. So did they open the floodgates at PAX Prime 2011 and firehose more onto us? No. They only gave us two more screens. Still, those two screens make are making us drool in anticipation of searching endlessly for bigger and badder weapons.
Of course, with names filenames "Exploding Bandits" images of lumbering mechs, of course you're going to make us drool. Borderlands 2 is definitely a highly anticipated game, it's just that Gearbox has already told us that we're going to have to anticipate for awhile longer. When it finally arrives, it will bring cel-shaded action, and over the top violence along with a healthy amount of loot whoring. Check out the other new image "Dam Top Fight" after the break.

I personally do not see the problem with the ending with Borderlands. I thought it was done very well the entire time you think your going to get into a vault and obtain all these great guns, but then they pull off a huge surprise with the Destroyer, and seeing Commandant Steele get impaled was priceless.
Yeah at first I was like oh dammit I can't get into the vault, but when I thought about it I realized it was pretty smart because that is how the vault hunters would feel like in real life. Just think they gave up no hints that the Vault was a prison for the Destroyer, because if they did well in real life would you try to kill something that could destroy the universe? I think not, so they wanted to lead the players on this false treasure hunt. it is pretty ingenious when you think about it.

When I first saw Borderlands 1 in a magazine the graphics were realistic, they decided like one month before its release to go with the comic book look and turned out all for the better, I was not sure about it when I first saw the new look in the magazine, but once I played it I realized it was an awesome idea, and without it I don't think it would have been as popular as it was, made it stand out from the crowd of other shooters. It didn't take itself too serious and was just fun.

Hopefully we'll get inside the vault this time, or have a richer ending than kill a monster and give up on whatever you were hoping to see inside.

I played the hell out of the first one and loved it. Want a fan of the ending, and the lack of weapon upgrades found in the later gameplay. This though, looks amazing. Can't wait it get my mitts on it.
