I LOVE LOVE me some Ratchet & Clank!!!
Can't wait for "4 Play" :-p to come out so i can get me some lol.
They should have kept it at 4 play instead of "All-4-one"

ratchet and clank is amazing.

my favorite R&C games are a tie between going commando and up your arsenal and they need to make an HD collection id love to play them again

Let's see. <3 R&C of course ever since the demo of the first one I think.
The original is of course a classic, but I think Going Commando (#2) is my favorite out of all of them. It still had the huge variety of creatures that the first one had while all the ones after that focused more and more on a single enemy army. Plus it had some of my favorite weapons and gadgets that aren't in the newer games and they didn't feel like they had been tested and balanced like crazy which made them feel even more ridiculous. :) Also, CLANK ROBOT FAMILY! (Strongbot "dad," bridgebot "mom" and kids) BRING THEM BACK!
Not to mention the cutscenes were f-ing hysterical - Angela disguised as the thief: *protopet puts thief's head completely in it's mouth* "And I want it delivered!" XD I watched that one over and over and over. My sides hurt from laughing so much. The humor up through ToD was great (or maybe Q4B). The humor in ACiT was good, but it wasn't the same and felt too much like it was trying to fit in with current popular culture or whatever it's called and it just wasn't as funny most of the time.
Also, what I have found pretty lame about the PS3 games (especially ACiT) is that each (full) planet has a lot less exploring to do and the explorable area of each planet just seems smaller. Why? BECAUSE IT IS. (Not including glitching all over the place in ACiT :P) I think getting gold bolts used to be more interesting as well.

I had a Ps2 and an Xbox. Had all the ratchet and clanks and loved em. got a 360 and the hardest thing about choosing xbox was no more ratchet and clank..:/ so many jokes and games i've missed out on....curse you microsoft...

Agreed, an excellent series that's kept the platformer genre alive. I have 'em all except for that mobile junk (nobody with a brain plays cellphone games). Can't wait for the next one.
Nah the 360 doesn't need it. People that age wouldn't appreciate it.

An HD collection for the Ratchet and Clank series would be awesome. This is one of my favorite franchises of all time. I also wouldn't mind if the series made the jump to the 360. Can't wait for the new one, I have them all except for the first one oddly enough lol smh, never played it.

I second the HD Collection, gambolingman.

One of my favorite franchises. Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal were the best.
PadawanLearner
me and clank have the same favorite number!
I've been playing Ratchet and Clank since I was little, no other franchise has stayed with me for this long. Here's to ten mores years!

R&C is my favorite franchise of all time, as is evident. I own all the games, the comics, and recently won a paperback version signed by TJ Fixman. I can't wait for All 4 One (which I wish would have been called 4 Play) but I know a lot of others who aren't as excited due to the refocus on co-op. Hopefully that doesn't deter Insomniac from continuing the franchise, because I think they are easily one of the best developers around and always release awesome games.
My launch ps3 died so I no longer have backwards compatibility, so a HD collection would also be great.

Up your arsenal was the best, followed with Deadlocked and Going Commando tied in a close second
WessyGamer
Up your arsenal and deadlocked were the best of them all, truly one of the best series of the past decade
gambolingman
thank you so much!
I needed that! It has been a great 10 years of Ratchet and Clank; and I hope there is 10 more!
Favorite game in series: a tie between Up your arsenal and Deadlocked. Deadlocked was the only game in the series to have split screen co-op!
I want it back!
Also: I need a Ratchet and clank HD collection of the first four games. Much obliged.
