A release date for Eat, Sleep, Play's car combat game Twisted Metal has been announced. You'll be able to get behind the wheel of death-dealing autos on February 14... hey, that's Valentine's Day! The PS3-exclusive game was originally supposed to come out in October, but the date was pushed back because more time was needed to add extra awesomness and/or cool-osity.
"Thank you for your understanding about our extension," Twisted Metal co-director David Jaffe said in a video statement, "We so hated that we had to do it, but we're grateful for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you online with Twisted Metal on Valentine's Day."

This is the second reason why I've kept my PS3, I only even bought it so I could play DC Universe and that turned out to be a dud. Too bad this is delayed

Was rather happy to see this one delayed.. I really want to play the hell out of this game, but as always the holiday line up probably would have meant this one got put off for awhile.
