Fans were disappointed to hear earlier this month that Lonesome Road, the supposedly final story DLC release for Obsidian Entertainment's Fallout: New Vegas, wouldn't be making its previously promised August release window. A date has finally been set though, and it's less than a month away: September 20.
As those who have been following the hints and teases know, this final DLC release sees the Courier meeting up with Ulysses, the courier that refused to deliver the Platinum Chip which causes so much trouble in the main game's story.
A week later, on September 27, Bethesda will be releasing two more DLC packs, the Courier's Stash add-on and the Gun Runners' Arsenal. The former, which costs 160 Microsoft Points / $1.99, adds the Caravan Pack, Classic Pack, Mercenary Pack and Tribal Pack to the game, all of which were previously available as pre-order bonuses.
Gun Runners' Arsenal carries a cost of 320 MS Points / $3.99, and it "increases the range of unique weapons, weapon mods, ammo types and recipes waiting to be uncovered in the vast Mojave Wasteland," according to the press release. Lonesome Road follows the trend set by previous story DLC releases, with a price tag of 800 MS Points / $9.99.
