Skyrim DLC Size Somewhere Between Point Lookout And Shivering Isles In Scale

Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim

I don't think anyone really doubts the inevitability of an eventual DLC release -- more than one, most likely -- for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. Maybe Bethesda Softworks folk have even mentioned it in previous interviews. Todd Howard, the game's director, went into a small amount of detail on the hoped-for scale of planned add-ons in a recent interview with CVG.

"Some of the bigger ones we did for Fallout 3 I thought were better. I like the Rockstar model too where it feels more like an expansion pack," he said, adding that the goal is for Skyrim's DLC to fall "between Point Lookout for Fallout 3 and Shivering Isles for Oblivion" in scale.

"I honestly don't know what we're going to do yet but that's kind of the way we're looking at it - something that's going to cost a bit more but be more of a complete package."
