Massively multiplayer horror game The Secret World has a release window. It's coming to PCs in April, 2012. Plus, EA just announced a beta that's coming up much sooner. You'll be able to test out the game beginning August 26.
"What is this The Secret World?" you may be asking. It's kind of hard to explain, but it's the MMO where "Everything is true." Every conspiracy theory. Every kind of monster. Every myth. Check out this trailer for a little more backstory:

Not just about killing Zombies. From what I've seen about the game it breaks a lot of the standard MMO conventions. To start with its much more story driven than most MMO's There is of course combat if that's what you're into but there is also actual investigation missions both in and outside of the game. Stealth missions, PvP that even has me interested in checking out (And I hate PvP). And remember...Everything is true. Zombies are just the start. I'm very much looking forward to the game.

I'm personally looking forward to this game ( I'm a sucker for Lovecraftian style and stories)... it's a different take on the MMO genre, and not everybody wants another Warcrack clone, or a Star Wars clone... It was supposed to be coming out on the 360 as well... if it is, then I'm sold.... otherwise, I'm going to pass.... I don't enjoy playing games on my computer... I prefer consoles, and will stick with them... just hope it's not another "oh well we decided not to bring the game to a console after all" type deal like so many MMO's B4 it....
Really_another_Sequel?
I can't wait for this game. Atleast this and Guild Wars 2 are doing something new, unlike that other mmo which in my opinion just looks like a WoW 2.0 with a reskin.

Honestly why would EA put out another MMO on top of Star Wars MMO.
This looks to be about as fun as watching paint dry. I am sure the first few days this game will be fun running from zombie and killing zombie bosses. But really would this game even survive the first 30 days that comes with the game when you buy it?
I am going to say doubtful. Really not enough here to make a game nor have a real fanbase who wants to play or stay.
Free in 90 days is my guess
