MotorStorm Apocalypse was deemed to be pretty damn good when it was released a few months ago, but a new update from Sony adds a slew of features you probably didn't even know you wanted. A PlayStation Blog post runs through the list of changes, one highlight of which is a brand new Mode Editor.
While the tracks themselves can't be futzed with, Mode Editor allows players to adjust any number of in-game rules. The example given imagines a custom "five-round Eliminator mode, on mirrored tracks, for 15 Monster Trucks and one Buggy, with moon gravity, infinite boost and no brakes." You're probably starting to see the potential here.
The game also now supports Move controls, along with a number of Logitech racing wheels: G25, G27, Driving Force GT and Driving Force Pro. In addition, newly added community features allow players to check profile stats and share personalized vehicle designs on motorstorm.com.
Online play also gets a boost thanks to the addition of clan tags, new gambling rules that reward the remaining racer when someone is disconnected or disqualified and invitation-only private rooms.
