We've written a lot about Diablo 3's cash shop lately, but that's not the only game that will feature real currency exchange for virtual goods. Nexon's Dragon Nest, a free-to-play MMO currently in beta, has just opened The Dragon Vault, a fully functional game bazaar that allow players to make purchases with all major payment options. Nexon has also added an exclusive dungeon encounter for high level players, the Minotaur’s Nest.
In order for players to enjoy these and other game features, Nexon is extending the open beta, which will keep rolling until the game officially launches. This means players will retain all of the characters, items and other enhancements they’ve made since they started playing the beta.
“The response from players to the open beta test has been overwhelmingly positive. We want to make Dragon Nest as enjoyable as possible, so we’re extending the open beta period to continue to test the game’s features and listen to player feedback,” said Davy Garaix, Dragon Nest producer at Nexon America. “Players love the game’s combat system, the colorful art style and all of the social features, and there is still more to come when we launch, such as PVP combat.”
On Monday, August 15, you can tune in to catch the debut of the official Dragon Nest launch trailer on X-Play at 6:30 p.m. ET and PT. If you miss it, we'll have the trailer online at 7 p.m.

haha yeah it is great. One downfall I realized is the over occurence of the same enemy. Not to much of a big deal I guess, but it is something that makes me bored of a game. Grinding is really easy in this game if you got the time. Right now, if your LV24 you get a pro bonus which gives your other character bonus exp. That system can be easily abused giving you at least 3 LV24's (If you started when Open Beta launched) One final con is that the boss battles get ridiculous sometimes. Most of the time they spam the same attack and is sometimes really difficult to get out. Game definitely relies a lot on team work I guess. Other than that, Class based system is good. Gameplay will definitely keep you playing for awhile. There are a few scenes that I'm surprised got through. I know this is a Korean game, but underaged upskirt scenes are kinda... well strange. More notably the clothing they have for the characters. Kinda sucks though that PvP will just be based off who is richer. Yeah, it's Nexon after all so of course your going to have that. In this, clothing will give you abilities like increased movement for one. Your armor and weapon will not matter so much there. LV is hardly an issue as well. It's all based on who's richer, then who is better skilled. But this game will keep you entertained if your bored with your other MMO's.

I am still playing this game and I enjoy it. I like being surrounded by tons of baddies and fighting your way out of them. I like the effects and thinking on your toes. I do not play everyday so I think that is why I enjoy it. I will say out of all of the characters the sorceress is the best. The storyline is fun too.

Tried the beta out already. The idea is interesting, but I sort of ran my self into a wall when the game really didn't do anything different. Mostly a beat them up.
Felt more akin to grinding than WoW did oddly enough. Odd perception for sure.
