Sony confirmed only yesterday the unfortunate news that the PlayStation Vita won't be coming to the U.S. or Europe this year. "Early 2012" is all we have to go on right now, but that timetable's going to get a lot more specific next month at Tokyo Game Show. That's where the release date will be confirmed, Sony has revealed (via VG247).
SCE Japan president Hiroshi Kawano confirmed the TGS reveal in a blog post yesterday, adding that the date is already "finalized." That's frustrating, right? Don't worry. Given Sony's secret-keeping track record, we should have a leaked release date in a matter of hours.
