We recently had the chance to play through one hour of Dead Island for a preview. It was a timed demo so we frantically ran through trying to see, and kill, everything we could. I was apprehensive about the title, but it appears as though Dead Island actually has clever game-play mechanics, variety in character creation and progression, a fresh and new-spin on a zombie horror story-arch and progression, as well as it's own unique game-play breadth and humor.

sweet coop is the thing me and my friends are planing to do. What can be more fun than killing zombies with friends? Well I don't think I can say that, but a zombie killing I will go.

i really really really hate zombies. not what they are or what they look like..... its just the stupid trend that i hate about them. this is zombie game to rofl stomp that retarded trend and hopefully bring some more people to the rpg side of the gaming world.

Dude, I want this game even more now. Punching zombies in their face is a plus for me! And stomping the crap outta them gives me a Dead Space feel. Looking forward to this game for sure!
