EVO 2011 was a spectacular event to watch but sadly it has come and gone. Like all EVO events there were hilarious moments, amazing comebacks, and epic performances. At this past EVO there were too many hype moments for us to count, but we at G4 narrowed the best moments down to 10. We could have made the top 50 moments at EVO 2011, but we were afraid your mind would melt from the extreme intensity of hype. It happens.

To all the people complaining about not having the Poongko v Daigo match in the list... Did you think that perhaps that replay is going to be be insanely popular? Maybe they passed on in in lieu of another highlight that may not get as much attention.

These commentators don't seem to improve on their craft. They are annoying because their speech is excessive and not additive or informative to the action taking place as if they don't know the game well. It must be a challenge to get skilled commentators who actually know the competition well enough to be effective.

How many of you that commented frequent SRK, IPW or EvenHubs. Try to keep in mind that the average gamer doesn't know who Poongko or Diago are therefore their match doesn't have the same impact that it had on somebody in the fighting game scene. Be happy that a major gaming outlet is giving the fighting game community any exposure at all.

i think some of you need to stop complaining. if you watched all of evo this weekend you would know that there were at least 100 great moments. picking 10 is difficult enough as is so it will be extremely likely that your favorite moment may not crack the top 10.
