The above Spiderdemon cake was sent to X-Play host Morgan Webb by id Software and Bethesda, and is guaranteed to haunt your nightmares...and your taste buds, especially if you remember the boss level from Doom. There's debate about whether the boss is called the "Spiderdemon" or the "Spider Mastermind," but we're sure it was made by the cake-technicians at Sweet and Saucy.
Morgan is moderating the "20 years of id Software" panel at QuakeCon this year, and will be joined by id heavy-hitters John Carmack, Tim Willits, Todd Hollenshead, and Kevin Cloud on Friday, August 5 at 2:30 PM. If you are at QuakeCon, you should not miss it.
Before it began roaming around G4's offices and wantonly murdering cubicle dwellers, we were able to subdue it with a carving knife. Inside the gigantic brain creature was delicious, red velvet cake. Om nom nom, as they say.

There's a sweet video of the cake under the "Read More" tag, and we even put together a whole Spider Mastermind photo gallery for your looking-at pleasure.
UPDATE: We have discovered a secret rice crispy layer.

Really cool Doom cake, I'm really hoping the new Doom is off the chain, with lots of secret walls!
