It feels kind of strange to be heading back to J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth during this downtime between Peter Jackson's stunningly faithful Lord of the Rings movie adaptations and his currently-in-production take on The Hobbit. The Lord of the Rings: War in the North will take us there though, an M-rated RPG from Snowblind Studios that now has a release date: November 1.
Like any proper journey through Middle-earth, the story in War of the North revolves around a human/elf/dwarf fellowship that has been sent forth to extinguish a great evil. You can get a sense of that basic story in the above trailer. Also, be sure to go check out the recently revealed Collector's Edition.

Then you are truly missing out. The Uncharted games are phenomonal.

Just wondering which fans are going to buy which one of the Collector Editions. What do you guys think? Anybody feel like a dwarf?

I'm so sick of hearing about Uncharted 3 at this point, that I have no intention of ever playing it. I'll be more than happy to spend my money & time playing LotR!

I was hoping it would ship this month. I know, wasn't likely. Hate to say it, but I won't be getting it in November; this game doesn't compete with Uncharted and Skyrim. And then after christmas I have to save up for Mass Effect. I wish them luck anyway.

Thats Uncharted 3's release date....This game is going to be overlooked, which is a shame
