Minecraft Will Be Getting Rain And Snow In Next Update

The Humble Indie Bundle #3 was revealed earlier this week, offering five quality games for a pay-what-you-want price and splitting all proceeds between the developers and various charities, as dictated by the buyer. Now, a special bonus has been added to the package: starting today, pick up Bundle #3 and get free access to Minecraft until August 14.

While I'm sure a large portion of you readers have played Minecraft, those who haven't receive a golden opportunity here. You no longer need to wonder why people get so crazy about this technically still unfinished world-building game with its blocky graphics and absence of blood. Make a charitable donation, get some great games and try Minecraft. Everybody wins.

Nikole noted in her Wednesday post that Markus "Notch" Persson, the creator of Minecraft and its studio, Mojang, led the latest Bundle's top contributors. He still does, with a purchase of $4,048. The same enthusiasm that led him to pony up is also probably the reason for this Minecraft promo's existence.

There are also five FULL games that you get in the latest pack, including Crayon Physics Deluxe, Cogs, VVVVVV, Hammerfight and And Yet It Moves.
