Anyway, aside from the Twilight bs I am disappoint in the Spider-Man Trailer. Spider-Man is my favorite comic book character, the trailers for the first Spider-Man movie and the second had me super excited from the first one, where as this one was just disappointment after disappointment. It leans far to close to the Ultimate Spider-Man version, which has Parker's parents creating Venom as a cure for cancer... just no. But the whole first person thing is jarring, it pulls you right out of the trailer. I'm convinced they did it so people wouldn't rage over the costume changes, you know people who rarely pay attention to the internet. To say the least the costume alteration was pretty drastic. It looks decidedly dark, which given Spider-Man's origin story is just fine, but I hope it stays away from the emo line that Spider-Man 3 crossed. All I know for sure is the next trailer better impress the hell out of me. :P
Aside from that, I like the Dark Knight Rises trailer, I'm on the fence about Sherlock Holmes trailer. The new Sherlock BBC adaptation is MUCH better than the movies sorry to say. That's why I just can't get excited for it...

On the defense for films being at Comic-Con: Almost all movies start out as comics called storyboards.

On the G4 post about the Comic Con Twilight Story they posted advertising their coverage on it I said the same thing. G4 has very low Credibility with me.
I don't even understand WHY twilight is at Comic Con. It's not a comic, it's nothing something nerds or geeks care about, and it's just a money trap for all the stupid fans.
It's funny because even people who LOVE the novels talk about how it's a lot of fluff and they can read the novels in less then 5 days (that's all the novels together) and yet Harry Potter (and actual franchise with integrity) has to do Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Two and suddenly someone in the Twilight Universe decides that to milk even MORE money from the saps that watch this they'll stretch Breaking Dawn into two movies.
I believe S. King said it best when he said, "Harry Potter is about confronting fears, finding inner strength, and doing the right thing in the face of adversity. Twilight is about how important it is to have a boyfriend."
Also the Dark Knight Rises trailer didn't really do anything for me. It's hard to really understand Gordon (or whoever is in the hospital bed) and it was more of a Teaser Trailer then anything and I expect better from Nolan. This felt like something they thought of at the last moment when they remembered Harry Potter was coming out.

How is Twilight a best ANYTHING?! Much less lunk in it with the promising movies. Good way to lose credibility, G4 Staff.
