Battlefield 3 Alpha And Beta Testing Details Emerge

You want to play Electronic Arts' Battlefield 3. I know this. I want to as well. You can't yet though, not until October 25. ...or can you? Yes! Between now and the game's holiday release, DICE will be conducting tests of both the alpha and beta builds of the game, as detailed in a new blog post on the Battlefield Blog.

The beta kicks off in September, and it is open to those who bought Medal of Honor: Limited Edition last year. The alpha is already underway, but it's a little harder to get into. This is a closed test, and by invite only, so you'll need to have your EA Profile set up to receive the official newsletter to be eligible. You'll also need a fair helping of luck, I would think.

the people who got Medal of honor Limted edition gets a earlier beta then the Open beta, Like Gears or war 3 beta. if you got Bulletstorm limited edition then you got the beta a week early

just what we need another beta. they don't actually balance shooters they just make 1 load out more op than the rest due to massive noob demand. the only way to balance a shooter is with numbers not opinions. if it looked balanced on paper than it actually is. the only big issue is players just refuse to admit they have a flaw in there play style for a certain weapon so the weapon "must be super weak".

On a side note.... i cancelled my pre order for the special edition of medal of honor when they said Taliban was now being called opposing forces. i'm not sad about it but could have sold the code on eBay or something.

Actually, the closed Alpha testing has already started. Its just being kept under wraps. There are videos on youtube if you check.
