GoldenEye 007 Reloaded HD Screens Appear Online

It wasn't exactly a well-kept secret, but Activision this morning officially announced GoldenEye 007: Reloaded for the PlayStation 3 and 360.

Described as a "contemporary James Bond experience featuring HD visuals and realistic environments running at 60-frames per second," GoldenEye 007: Reloaded has a full campaign mode, and also "takes multiplayer to new heights," by improving the beloved  four-player split-screen of GoldenEye, and adding 16-player online matches with "more maps, weapons, characters and game modes than ever before."

“We are beyond ecstatic to debut GoldenEye 007: Reloaded to the millions of fans who have been clamoring for it to arrive on Sony and Microsoft home consoles,” said David Oxford, Executive Vice President at Activision Publishing. “And now with full PlayStation Move functionality, 007 fans all around the world can play the game in full HD in more ways than ever before.”

No word yet on a release date, but I promise I'll let you know more when I know more.

I'm slightly confused. Is this a HD remake of the original N64 Goldeneye or a new story, HD graphics Bond game with the "Goldeneye" title?

You know for the price of this game you could get a 64, the origional game, and probably an extra controller and relive the greatness. As much as I like my 360 the 64 was the best system made.

Again I say that everyone should stop complaining about it looking like another shooter, especially one that you probably aren't giving enough credit. Just. Bloody. Wait. And. See.

As much as I can't wait for this I feel like I'm looking at a screen shot of Black Ops. *puke*

Let's see what are the games that sold more than any other games on PS3 and 360, oh ya, COD BO and MW2.

Huh. Activision? A shooter? What a surprise... They only have one trick and have sucked at it for years.

Is this game even going to be based on the GoldenEye movie? Does anyone in the game industry remember that it was a movie game?

The exclusives that should leave the Wii are the ones that aren't coming to America, games like Fatal Frame 4 and The Last Story.
Either way with Golden Eye I think I'll stick with getting the Wii Version.

You can tell just by the screenshots it's running on the Call of Duty engine, which is probably why they're getting it to run at 60fps. This'll be the 5th time that engine (Which made it's dbut in 2006) has been recycled into a game. I sincerely hope it fails on the simple principal that Activision doesn't care about putting quality games out anymore, but somehow, I doubt it will.

No thanks Activision. Im not rebuying call of 007 for the 100th time.
Probably uses the COD engine again. Activision needs to die, looks like all they did was slap the 007 brand onto blackops and try to sell it back to us again. *sigh*

When it comes to rehashing the same old crap over and over, look no farther than Activision.
