In true Comic-Con fashion, Disney today unveiled the latest addition to its popular Vinylmation line of collectibles, the 1950s wind-up toy inspired Vinylamation Robots. The new series goes on sale July 22, and will be making its debut at Comic-Con this week.
“Disney vinyls are the hottest collectible right now and we’re pleased to offer two different styles in one great week,” said Disney Store North America director of toys John Balen. “The Vinylmation community keeps challenging us to be more imaginative and creative, and the Vinylmation Robots series is like nothing they’ve ever seen before. Comic-Con is all about exclusives and Disney POP! Vinyls are a great way to give the fans something unique.”
The collection is comprised of 12 three-inch figures that retail for $9.95 and three nine-inch figures that’ll set you back $39.95. These adorobots (trademarked) feature some fantastic details that adhere perfectly to each figures style. From the gear innards of the steampunk bot to the dial eyes and speaker ears of the radio bot, each one has a unique and expressive personality.
Disney will also be offering Comic-Con attendees the exclusive chance to pick up a new line of POP!
