Tekken X Street Fighter Development "Is At Zero Percent"

The Future of Fighting Games: Looking Forward at Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat, Tekken X Street Fighter And More

Don't expect to play Tekken X Street Fighter anytime soon. According to Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada, “Currently, the development of Tekken x Street Fighter is at zero percent.”

Harada added, “It’s developing about five percent in my head. At the moment, through Twitter, we’re asking people to send us suggestions on which characters to include in the new game. I especially want Street Fighter players to let us know which characters they want to see in the series.”

If you want to help with that 5% you can send Katsuhiro Harada a tweet.

Tekken X Street Fighter was announced on the same day as Street Fighter X Tekken. Yes, they are completely different games. Street Fighter X Tekken is due for release next year and was playable at this past E3.

If you can't wait another year or two for more Tekken, rest assured, Tekken: Tag Tournament 2 is nearly finished.

If Harada ever sees this post I want him to know I would like to see the following characters in Tekkan vs Street fighter to entice me to buy it. Akuma, Sagat, Q, Oro, Elena, Ibuki, Gen, M.Bison, Blanka, C.Viper and Juri. But to be fair, Q and Akuma are the best.

Charlie, Akuma, Sakura cuz Tekken has annoying girls too & PLEASE NO DHALSIM, HONDA & ZANGIEF barely nobody plays with them

Just for those who don't know, the difference in the two games is the fighting mechanics.
Street Fighter X Tekken is more Street Fighter IV like as Tekken X Street Fighter is more Tekken style fighting and graphics.

i would really love to see akuma in this game. i mean, who cant picture akuma taking on heihachi! or his oni form take on devil jin! thats what i want, but thats just my opinion!

SF2- Fei Long, Dee Jay, Cammy

SF3- Alex, Hugo, Dudley, Elena, Remy

I personally am really looking forward to this game. I like the characters from Street Fighter but don't like the dumbed-down, button-mashing fighting system. Where's the brutal combos, forget cheap projectiles.

Never really planned on playing the Namco version. I will be playing the Capcom version for sure. Kinda stinky knowing that Namco is not hard at work on a game that they agreed on making. Oh well.
