Twisted Pixel's Ms. Splosion Man is chock full of pop culture references. --Warning Spoilers-- As Jake "Eagle Eye" Gaskill noticed, some of their references date back to the early days of video games. For example, Ms. Splosion Man's final boss takes you back to the days of SNES with Punch-Out. After platforming for a few hours, boxing makes total sense.
Ms. Splosion Man also has a few Easter eggs for gamers who aren't afraid to explore. "Star Road" is a hidden area, you don't get to play but if you stand there long enough you'll get an achievement and witty commentary. Keep reading to see for yourself.
