Mortal Kombat 9 DLC Rain Video -- Make It Rain!

The next DLC character for Moral Kombat 9 has been revealed. Folks, give Rain a warm welcome.

Rain made his MK debut in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 but wasn't a full character until Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Rumor has it the devs named him after Prince's song "Purple Rain." It makes sense, he wears purple, he's the Prince of Edenia, plus he never wanted to cause anyone any sorrow, nor any pain. He only wanted to see you laughing...in the purple rain.

Rain's moves are comparable to Storm's from X-Men. He can summon lightning, water pulses and make water swords. He also has an ability that will surely be envied by the entire Netherrealm, the power to make bubbles!

Mortal Kombat 9 downloadable character, Rain, will be available on July 19.

Looks pretty sweet. I do not like the graphics of the water bubbles (around the head and feet) but other than that awesome combos

These DLC characters are cool but they suck to play against online especially Kenshi he needs some definite tweaking he way to fast and his range is endless not even fun to fight not to mention he does a hell of a lot of damage.

I love these videos but I'm not nearly as good to every make these characters look as good as they do in the previews.
