Do you see that idylic, tropical scene above? lest you think it's a panoramic view of Bora Bora or Tahiti, know this: It is far from either of those destinations. That's a picture of Banoi, the fictional island at the heart of zombie-killing video game Dead Island, and there are way more zombies there than there are palm trees and Mai-Tais combined. It's a bad island...but a good picture.
If you'd like to look at this picture and others like it live, and in 3-dimensional book form, you'll need to pre-order Dead Island from Amazon. Amazon customers will receive a digital art book that includes game art and concept art of everything from the characters, that fat tourist dude with the camera, zombie types, environment concepts, and more!
There's another, more urban picture under the "Read More" tag, so enjoy that as well.

ya lets see pre-order from amazon and get an art book of things that im sure people will post entirely on the internet after the release anyway, OR pre-order from gamestop and get an exclusive in game chainsaw metal baseball bat? i think im gonna go with gamestop =) which ive already done

I don't understand why people want a Collector's Edition anyway, It's usually just a bunch of useless junk that's gonna sit in the box and take up space.
And DLC bonus' are stupid.
how about cheaper games and less useless stuff with it?

Um, why didnt you post the other kinds of exclusives that are offered for pre ordering, lets say, an actual game store.. GameStop. or mentioning the Limited Edition pre order that has tons of extras

art books are pretty but I would probably prefer free DLC or something

I don't understand why companies offer artbooks.
My ME3 CE will come with an Art book, that I MIGHT skim once and then never look at again.
I don't care to see what the designers had envisioned or how cool Tali was going to look but then they couldn't make her look that way in the game.
Honestly if I wanted to look at art pictures of what was in the game or things that weren't able to be in the game I'll look at them on the internet.
Maybe I'm alone, but Art Books to me are just garbage.
