I regret missing the first planetside MMO. It be interesting to see what type of MMO this will be. However, the first game - was more of a multiplayer shooter like World of Tanks (except 1st person) and not really a MMO. I hope the second one has more RPG elements like Rage seems to have as a FPS MMO.

As long as they remove the BFRs and allow characters they created in PS1 to have an influence on their PS2 characters I'm in... eh, forget that, I'm in no matter what... I'll simply be happier.

PlanetSide 2 or Dust 514...tough one I think
PS2 will offer larger battles
D514 will offer meaningful battles

sounds interesting. my pc isn't fast enough to run a game like this(see what i did there? just told you guys why i want it on ps3. stop hasseling people for wanting a game on a particular console! its stupid), so i hope it gets on ps3. thank you for your time. good bye....forever.....not really...i'm right behind you...i'm your stalker. wonder if i get voted up or down for putting so much irrelevant crap on here? only YOU decide.(one vote per person per day)

Looks neat, but I'm only going to get it if it's on PS3

I really hope this one can maintain it's population. While it's true that you don't need big populations to have fun in games, it's different for a game like Planeside. It's all about constant battles over getting territories, and if there's a low population the battles end up becoming weak and one group of people can just take everything without much of a fight. That said I can't wait to try out Planetside 2. I really loved the first one. It's definitely not your typical mmo.
