Resistance 3 arrives on September 6, hopefully bringing a happy close to humanity's ongoing struggle against the invading Chimera. Sony's got you covered if you've somehow managed to miss out until now, with a newly announced Resistance Dual Pack that puts Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 into a single box.
The Dual Pack carries a budget price tag of $39.99, PlayStation Blog confirms. True, you can already get your hands on those games for around $20 apiece, but the Dual Pack throws in a few value-added bonuses to lure you away from cheaper used copies. Included are three DLC add-ons for Resistance 2, the Aftermath map pack, a Wraith weapon skin and a separate skin bundle. Also included is an exclusive Joseph Capelli SRPA multiplayer skin, which you'll be able to use in Resistance 3.
If you haven't played the first two games, you'll probably want to do that before the September trilogy-capper arrives. Some spoiler-tastic events have gone down in the story so far, some of which will be clear from the start of the third game. The Dual Pack not only lets you find all of that out on your own, it also gives you a special multiplayer skin that you can lord over your completist friends. That, more than anything else, ought to be worth the price of admission for some.

No trophies for FoM = failure. You can find both FoM and R2 for dirt cheap.

I highly recommend these games to anyone who enjoys first person shooters. If you own a ps3, and you've never played either one of these games, shame on you lol. BTW Adam, please change the screenshot before you get fired hmmmk? ^_^
