PSN Welcome Back Program Has Expired -- We'll Always Have The Memories

The Welcome Back Program, set up by Sony to make up for the PSN outage, has expired. April's PSN outage affected every single PSN user. Sony gave away free PS3 and PSN games, for a limited time, to all users. The program ended this morning.

Did you take advantage of Sony's offer? Or are you a loser like me who kept putting it off and now it's too late?

I'm also a loser who put it off 'til it was too late XD. I did manage to get Infamous and Little Big Planet for free from it; though I shouldn't have procrastinated getting the 2 PSP games and 30 days of PS+.

My downloads never took for some reason, so even though I "took advantage" of the two free PS3 games, I didn't actually get them.

I downloaded Infamous which i haven't played with much yet, and Stardust which i am totally addicted to right now (love the old school arcade play). Haven't used PSN+ at all. Overall very happy especially since Sony never had my credit card info anyway.

Wow, so people at G4 really DO have PS3's... I thought you only catered to the underage and undereducated 360 crowd. (They're the only ones who'd buy the crapbox anyway, you won't see any real gamers with one.)

Nah I skipped it too, there was nothing. I had all 5 of the free games and Plus is a joke because you're lucky if you save $2 on the games and the free stuff you can't keep. I was kinda hoping they'd offer some new stuff for Plus but I guess they forgot or were waiting for the free trial to expire. Sucky move on their part but oh well, I'm glad enough to have something better than Live for free.

It sucked anyway. PSN glitches on me, so I only got one game which was just the best turd in the punch bowl.

I downloaded like seven full games, a map pack for KZ3 and a few themes all for free with the Welcome Back program and the free month of Playstation Plus. For me Sony made up for losing my personal info, I'm still not happy about what happened but Sony really went out of there way to make it right.
