It's usually the little things in games that get me the most excited. Collecting all of the little bricks in the LEGO games, smashing pots or barrels in just about every game, stuff like that. Yesterday I was playing through the Journey beta and during the second part where the jellyfish pet things come out just made me so excited and happy, even though they weren't really doing anything other than guiding me. What types of little things get you really excited when it comes to games, or do you not get excited by the little things?

Shemue, I loved looking at all the minor details of the town. from how the power lines where strung to minor details in the houses. I just wish the people who lived there did not always ask about the location of sailors.

The first time I saw the exhaust spark (whatever it's called when you let go of the gas and a little flame erupts or w/e) in a racing game I was really impressed...The Devil's in the details! ^_^
