Ryan Dunn Tribute Special Coming; Proving Ground To Resume

The tragic death of Jackass and Proving Ground star Ryan Dunn affected us all deeply here at G4, so to celebrate Dunn's life and mourn his untimely passing, we're planning a special tribute episode of Attack of the Show on July 19 at 7pm ET/PT.  We'll be featuring Dunn's most memorable moments on G4, interviewing his friends and loved ones, and paying tribute to his life and influence.

“Ryan was an incredible talent who will be missed tremendously by his many fans, including G4 viewers,” said Neal Tiles, President, G4. “It was important to all of us at G4 to find a way to celebrate his life and pay tribute to him."

Immediately afterwards, we'll be airing an episode of Proving Ground, Dunn's G4 show. With the support of Dunn's family, the nine-episode series will resume with in its original timeslot on July 19 at 8pm ET/PT.

most of you people are aren't thinking before your posting, people die it's the way of life, every way a person can die besides living a long happy life is a stupid and unecesary way to die, stop being haters because you didn't know him personally because if you did you would be sad and you would be mourning, i don't know how any one could talk s*%& about someones death like they killed themselves intentionally, if that was anybody in your family you would be in a completley different mindset.

I agree with MeanBob91. Ryan will be sorely missed but I am glad to hear that G4 didn't keep Proving Ground off the schedule. And I'm looking forward to seeing his tribute show on AOTS.

    R.I.P. Ryan Dunn.

I know it's a stupid question but does anyone know if the passengers relatives are going to sue his estate for wrongful death. - OR - Will Ryan's next of kin donate to MAD in his name. It is truly a sad sad day when any human being leaves this Earth unexpectedly in a totally avoidably manner... but then again it sounds like due to his behavior, that it was unavoidable. Tis the life you lead when you depend on the fame and adoration of others to fill your heart. I pray that his soul and the soul of his passenger find rest... and for those who think I am picking on him... the rest of us are mere moments away from the same fate if we make the same errors in judgment.

I think you guys need to chill out.

Did you know him personally? Ryan was a t.v. star, a t.v. star. Guess what people on t.v. do, they act. If you didn't know him personally how can you judge? He was undoubtedly a different person when he was not on screen.

His death has no effect on me in the slightest. I did not know him or even care for what he had done in his career. But I'm not going to disgrace myself by talking bad about a man who is dead.

Does it make you feel more manly talking crap about a dead man?

If I get drunk and murder someone, will G4 have a tribute for me?

Since he died he gets a special, yet if he lived he would be jail for the murder of his passenger. Oh this world we live in.

The special should be title, World's Stupidest High Speed Drunken Crashes.

Really don't think he deserves a special. It is sad that he was dumb enough to drink and drive, but on top of that, he killed the other person who was in the car with him. I think it is ridiculous for people to feel bad for someone who killed themselves out of stupidity.

@JustTheBeginning- Okay I get that we shouldn't drink and drive, but a person dead is a person dead. Why should how they died determine whether or not we show respect?? I can see if he was killed on death row or something, but the man died in a car crash. We don't know who was driving, we don't know how intoxicated he was, so why should that matter now since he's gone??

Yeah, I agree with the above post. It is terrible that 2 lives ended due to stupid decisions but they only have themselves to blame. Joe Shmoe's die everyday due to those kinds of stupid decisions and I don't see a tribute to them. This "talented man" was known for showing his rear end and running into crap in a shopping cart, I hardly call that talent. Again, I am not overlooking that this is 2 human lives lost, but what about the other guy? Where is his tribute? Oh wait,he isn't a "Jackass" so he doesn't deserve one. G4, I love you and will continue to love you, but you have kind of screwed up on this one.
