A Saints Row The Third (aka: Saints Row 3) gameplay footage trailer has arrived, courtesy THQ and Volition. Are you ready for dancing hookers? How about utter tank mayhem? Calling in an air strike on unsuspecting thugs? How about-- You know what? Why don't I just stop talking so we can all watch the chaos together?
We have a Saints Row 3 release date of November 15, 2011. Hopefully it won't be too awkward come Thanksgiving when I say how grateful I am for being able to dance in the street with hookers before smashing someone's face into pavement with absolutely no consequences.
Excited? Any ridiculosity you think the developers missed? I mean, my first thought - first thought! - when this game was announced was, "There is no way I'm buying this unless they put in a giant purple dildo sword..." so don't be afraid, friends. Sometimes dreams do come true.

Holy poopers, I love this series!
This is why I love open world games. Sure you can stick to the story, but I love being able to make my own fun between missions and just hang out in these awesome worlds.
Starting SR2 again and will be ready for the third one when it releases.

Previous to this trailer, I had no interest in this game. Now I might go pre-order it later in the week. Nice to see a game that is focused primarily on being fun and less about taking itself seriously. Whoever made that video clip, nice work. You sold me.

@Big Dan Dizzle - Yes, perfect Top Gun reference. I'd never played any of the Saints Row games, but this looks like a lot of fun. It's got some obviously similiarities between itself and GTA series, but this game looks like fun too. It wasn't on my list before, but it is now. It looks great.

i honestly hated the second saints row, but this might actually be good lets just hope it isnt as buggy or has the same bad controls as the first 2

I never played SR1 or SR2, and never wanted to. Always looked like a lame rip-off of GTA: San Andreas. And while I think SR3 looks as ugly as GTA IV and it'll all probably get old relatively quickly (gamers are so hard to please), I gotta say...Oh my freakin' gawd. I am going to pre-order that. Cuz, YES! It's the mayhem and sheer weirdness that we've all been wanting since San Andreas.
And I've ALWAYS wanted to beat someone with a 2ft purple dildo. Just haven't wanted to go to jail for it. ;)

I honestly thought this was going to be as terrible as Saints Row 2, but after seeing this, my opinion has changed from pessimism to the desire of wanting to play this game. The VTOL alone got me hooked.

I wanted to say they are trying too hard, but this game is probably the best time killer in the world. What's wrong with Volition?!!! I didn't care about the series, but this is definite buy.

I honestly can't wait for this game. I can't think of anything the developers missed but I'm pretty sure they put everything in the game that makes sense on an imaginary level. However I was not thinking of a giant dildo bat but I was hoping they brought back the giant foam pimp hand.
