Zelda HD for the Wii U is a definite possibility, not that it really surprises us. Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed to Kotaku that Nintendo wants to create an HD Zelda title. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is not having a dual release on the Wii and Wii U. Nintendo rarely launches a console without a Zelda game. I don't think Nintendo wants the Wii U to be the GameCube of this console gen, know what I mean?
Keep reading to see what Shigeru Miyamoto said.
"This is an HD system, our first HD system, and we want to create a real HD Zelda game for it. You will see a lot of these in-depth and deep experiences in terms of visual style. You will also see some play styles that are fun and interesting because of the play structure."
The reality is, I don't like the Wii U. I think Nintendo made a poor choice with the concept, the name and the hype. But as disappointed as I am with the console, if Nintendo releases a new HD Zelda game I'll have no choice but to hand them my money along with my dignity.
