The Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer beta launch will happen sometime in January 2012. The announcement came via the @GhostRecon Twitter page on June 20, 2011 much to the joy of everyone wanting to go all Minority Report with their gun selection via Kinect integration with Future Soldier. (If they include that feature, of course.)
Ubisoft is mum on other details, but keep watching. Details are bound to crop up. A Ghost Recon: Future Soldier release date is currently set for sometime between January and March 2012.

yeah but the important question is: is the beta still on the splinter cell: conviction disk as it was announced like 2 years ago when the game was released? (I doubt it but it was one of the main reasons I bought the game aside from the fact that conviction was BAD ASS AS HELL!!!!)

No way the release date for this can be between Jan-March if the beta is in January. Time frame just doesn't add up to me. I have been waiting on this beta for a very long time. I even got Splinter Cell Conviction to get into the beta. Now they will probably change how you get into the beta.

I am so tired of these 2 year waiting periods after games are announced. Some company's need to figure out that we grow tired of hearing about it (coming....). Nail down a date and start the marketing at a decent time. Please stop shooting rainbows up our butts then making us wait 2-3 years.

Clancy games ruled XBL before halo and cod started coming out. Maybe this its a return to that prestige?

I wonder if the beta codes that came with Splinter cell will still be honored. I'm guessing there's no expiration date on those things.
