The Devil May Cry series may be getting an HD remake according to a Spanish retailer. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Devil May Cry series. I'm pretty sure the 10th anniversary is the HD anniversary, or maybe it's tin. Xtralife.com currently lists a game called the Devil May Cry HD Collection for released on November 30th. Box art indicates the game will be a PS3 exclusive.
Despite all signs pointing to an HD remastering of Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3, Capcom has issued a statement saying, “We haven’t made any announcements regarding a Devil May Cry collection.”

For die-hard Devil May Cry fans like me, this is awesome news! I'll take a remastered (OK, re-packaged) collection of the original instead of buying the Ninja Theory abomination that is DmC.

for those people saying it doesn't look better, they're obviously smoking crack or have a tv with issues. having owned God of War 1 + 2, and then getting HD Collection(since i do replay them)... well God of War for PS2 kinda looks like crap on my HDTV. Super crap. blurry and... for pretty games they detract horrible from the experience. on my old tv's they look pretty okay(funny that). But i don't use those tv's anymore, they're big, ugly... and well the colors alone suck for everything now.
for the record, i own a 60gb PS3 with the BW compatability intact. And all PS2 games still look pretty crappy.
The HD remakes though are a godsend. and very crisp.
Also maybe its the tv and varying mileage. i've a 40inch Samsung HDTV from 3 years ago. Top of the line then... still pretty awesome now.

ignore the agree part... but really that's stupid.... just get the ps2 game, it's cheaper and it's the same thing. the HD is just the graphics look blurry and a few frame rates faster

i agree!!!!! they are so going against what they say as far as letting go of the last gen games.... but they will be sold again. some of these fools go for it and pay more. just play it the way it came out. HD doesn't change the game. they got idiots fooled.... are u one of them?

Who could not like this, being that Devil May Cry 3 is one of best PS2 games ever? If the Collections keep selling well, maybe Square will be more pressed to make a KH Collection. They might as well, since FF XIII-2 looks extremely unappealing, and Versus XIII won't see the light of day for years at this rate.

Awesome. Now they just need a Jak Collection and a Timesplitters Collection, and my predictions will have come true! Genuinely excited, I'd be.

I think this is becoming a fad, let's just put a bunch of old games into high def and sell them again. I'm not saying it's a bad idea but i dont think every last gen game should get this treatment. BTW, nikole you are so freakin gorgeous :)
