We learned a lot about Gears of War 3 in Kevin Kelly's E3 2011 Horde Mode preview. For instance, Gears 3 will feature purchasable, upgradeable items in the game, including a decoy. At the lowest level of the decoy's upgrade tree is a simple cardboard standee of Augustus Cole shilling "Thrashios" cereal. This reminded us of the below X-Play video, a fake commercial for "Grains of War" cereal:
After the addition of a X-Play inspired Torque Bow tag mode, we're beginning to sense a pattern!

They were in the beta too i believe, in the thrashball map if you go upstairs and look behind the bars in the back, theres a cardboard cutout of Cole with the cereal.
