Duke Nukem Forever Actually On Store Shelves

Duke Nukem Forever

I don't want to alarm anyone, but today may mark the beginning of the End Days. I'm not some apocalyptic preacher trying to scare some donations out of you with a hokey Bible reading; I'm basing my prediction on this simple fact: Duke Nukem Forever is actually on store shelves, right now. You can just walk into a store and buy a copy. Once the most anticipated title in gaming, DNF has been in development since 1997, which means children born then are 14 years old, and 14 year olds in 1997 are now 28. It's skipped maybe 2 generations of game players!

I haven't had a chance to play more than five minutes of the game yet, but I'm looking forward to checking it out, after first checking my expectations at the door. After all, a game that's been in the development hopper that long is bound to have some...issues. I guess we'll see. I'm really pulling for Duke, though.

What about you guys? Have you played Duke yet? What do you think?
