You know that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gameplay demo Infinity Ward debuted at Microsoft’s E3 2011 press conference? You know, the one called “Hunter Killer” that unfolds during an all out military invasion set in the New York City harbor? MW 3 is much better but BF 3 is a big chellange for it

well since i have seen meaningless fighting between bf and cod on almost every video of those games and i dont see one on this, and it seems weird now that i see it all the time. i will say something i do not believe as i cannot see how to compare bf and cod as they are to different games. i think bf2 is better that cod.
start the fighting ..... now.
Note: i like both bf and cod, and i see them as equals. i only posted that so make it so people can see that there is pointless fighting between these games. thank you

I hate wen ppl compare CoD 2 BF i mean alll the diifer is tht is BF has a better engine tht is all and teamwork but besides tht if CoD changed there engine to make it better than BF tyhen the ppl who said tht BF had the batter graphics would then go back 2 CoD and if BF did the same thing ppl would start to argue again so all the arguing is pretty much 4 nothing and ppl waisting there time making BF vs CoD videos just cuz they want to start something. my opinion is tht they very a like

it really annoys me how people think they know how exactly the game is going to be and act like they know how BF3 is going to be. yeah sure BF3 has a new engine and graphics are good but CoD and BF3 are different in so many ways. i think people shoild stop comparing the two even though they are both like big titles for the year. so if you dont want to buy MW3 then stop talking crap on it and dont bother watching the videos.....im just saying

We are actually watching the beginning of the end for the COD franchise.

I love this series, sure its a mw2 remake, but i had fun with that too. i just wish they would get all the gun facts right for once. like the FMJ perk, calling it FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) is stupid seeing how thats not what the armed forces use. FMJ are practice rounds, they shouldn't be the "go through walls" ammo. If that's what you want then call them Armor Piercing rounds. which is what the armed forces use solely in combat. Another thing, a fore-grip does not reduce recoil from a gun, a muzzle break does that. a fore-grip just make the gun more ergonomicly better to hold. It really annoys me that they cant get these little common sense gun facts straight.

Nobody needs to crush Call of Duty, Its crushing itself with the same repetitive game play every year. There is no way im going to get this instead of Elderly Scrolls Skyrim or even Battlefield 3 There are just better Games to spend my hard earned money on than Call Of Duty

i gotta be honest........if this is another sequel wheres the difference in gameplay......same weapons....models might appear a lil different..same sounds..Even the Same Music!!!!!!!!
and still no destruction.....a decade from now many gamers will look back and wonder why they ever played a shooter where a thin piece of metal can protect you from an FMJ.

what the heck happened to my post? why does this site always give me trouble? i had this awesome long lengthy rant about how no battlefield 3 or any other game is going to crush cod and i went on to say how frank zampenella and the other infinity folks migrated in time to polish the code for the frostbite two engine so we the gamers will all benefit from the awesome brainpower being spread around and i went on to remind people to tone it down w the hating each other as they the companies only care about profit margins and stock surges so we need to be more hones about what stinks w our devs. the graphics and god aweful audio for BF bad company 1 and 2 should have raised more attention but it didn't because the fans of the series are more focused on attacking cod fans who by the way almost always buy a battlefield game as well. and yes the gun sounds have been cruddy since modern w 4 lets hope they fix that. we work hard for our money all of us so lets make sure they earn it. you now have space rabies woof!

every year it's the same fanboy rage this is going to be the battlefield game that ends cod! blah blah and yet every year new engine or not it's cod who out sells em all it's cod w superior graphics and multi player. so frank and some infinity folks had to go and help build the frostbite 2 engine so battlefield can even take it's self seriously. o.k. that means there will be two awesome games to buy yeah for me! just remember boys and girls ea and activision don't care about you dice doesn't care about you they care about the money you bust your butt for so when their game is subpar let THEM know, HATE their guts not each others! for the love of gamers i give you space rabies wooooof!

Why are the MW3 trailers plastered all over the front page of G4tv.com and the much-hyped, clearly better contender's (Battlefield 3) trailers nowhere to be seen - ie buried and only availble via searches?
Makes one wonder what the 'monetary/relationship' between Activision and G4TV really is? or maybe Kotick is just giving away free handjobs to everyone at G4?

I liked the end of the trailer after you get out the sub. Looked pretty epic and hectic. Crap blowing up around you. Battleships getting blasted. Fighter jets dogfighting around you. (If you were fighting a battle, why would you put explosive gas tanks on top of your boat in plain site? Your're just asking to get blown up.) If I ever experienced that in real life i think i'd ____ myself. I'm gonna wait to buy this one after it comes out. I think they should have waited to announce this at e3 instead of showing it off a month before e3. The would have gotten a better reation to the trailer.

I have not been a fan of the past CoD games. I truly hate the Ultra-Short single player campaign and i hate even more that it's short because the developers spend most of their resources on multiplayer. It pisses me off to no end. I also hate the sounds the guns make in the games. They all sound the same damn way with small variances from gun to gun.
With that being said, I really feel different about MW3. The game looks pretty good, the whole deal with the underwater mission, damaging the sub so it surfaces, taking it over and using its missiles to take out its own friendlies, then escaping into a boat chase was all pretty decent writing. Since i can see from the beginning that this game is not yet a total failure I may still have a glimmer of hope for the series. We'll see if they can do anything with the god-awful gunshot sound that has been a reoccurring tragedy since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Looking forward to seeing more of the game. It's interesting though. BF3 looks better for some reason. I'm still going to get both. Alot can happen between now and the end of the year. I want to see which two games will out sell one another...

Not bad but they better lower the price on this to about 20 dollars on launch day cause Battlefield 3 is gonna plow through this game like a a runaway freight train, and thats just being real.

One of the first missions in the game and its already getting flamed. We haven't seen anything yet. How about you wait for the game to come out before you act like you've seen it all and can call it crap.

The puppets running Infinity Ward now inherited a damn nice engine, at least.
My decision isn't final, but I doubt I'll be picking this up.
