Ice-T's Bodycount Reuniting For Gears of War 3; New Campaign Mission Demoed

Legendary rapper Ice-T announced his famed group Bodycount will be reuniting to produce a song written specifically for Gears of War 3’s Horde Mode.

During Microsoft’s E3 2011 press conference, Epic Games’ head Cliff Bleszinski demoed a new section of a campaign level from Gears 3 with Ice-T playing co-op alongside him.

In the demo, the gears are tasked with taknig out a massive tentacled beast. the team moves through a building that is being torn apart and is collapsing all around. On the roof, the gears outrun a giant tentacle and hop into Silverbacks, personalized mech suits. The beast rises and chomps down on the edge of the building, it’s massive orange gaping mouth and eyes filling the entire screen. The team unloads on the creature as a crate of tickers gets tipped over onto the beast from the bridge above, sending the abomination howling to its death. The gears scramble off the rooftop and escape just as the beast explodes, bringing the demo to an end.
