Halo 4 Confirmed For Xbox 360

Moments ago at its E3 2011 press conference, Microsoft confirmed that Halo 4 is coming out for the Xbox 360. To be released during the holidays of 2012. Halo 4 was announced as the beginning of a new trilogy, and the teaser shown at the press event featured what seemed like iconic Halo stars Master Chief and Cortana. We'll have it up for you to watch soon.

At Microsoft also announced a remake of the original Halo as well, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

2012 will be worse than 2011. Halo 4 is the only exclusive for next year on Xbox.

how do u have a jetpack the entire time but when the brutes and the other guys ( forgot thier name s havent played halo in over a year now ) are all flyin and stuff but u knew u had a jet pack and u stayed on the groung wtf?

Despite not being a big fan of Halo's multiplayer (versus) I really like the campaign gameplay and story and when that trailer started going and I realized it was Cortana I about yelled for joy. Which would have been bad as I'm at work watching it. I love my job.

Halo wars, Halo 1 remake and halo 4 are all made by other developers than bungie, its a big universe with a lot of rich story to tell, it makes money and people like it, of course they are gonna keep making games, books, and other merchandise. you don't bench your top player it'd be stupid if they didn't keep perusing the story

The announcement floored me. Way to go, Microsoft, way better showing then last year. I am curious about this game... I reserve some judgement until I see some gameplay, but just knowing Master Chief will get a continued story feels pretty good.
