Power A has announced exclusive Batman "Batarang" controllers to be released in conjunction with Batman: Arkham City this fall. Looking to put some real power behind your excursions? You'll want to stick these in your utility belt.
"Batman fans will revel in the authenticity of the design of the Batarang, while gamers will appreciate the comfort and performance that POWER A brings to these one-of-a-kind controllers. The Batarang controller for PlayStation 3 is wireless with reverse analog sticks and a Batman-themed USB RF receiver. The Batarang controller for Xbox 360 is a wired controller with a 10-foot / 3m inline release cable."
Sony always trumps Microsoft when it comes to sharing their wireless technology. Bluetooth for the win! Head on after the break to check out a photo of both controllers, which we'll be checking out at E3. Let us know if you think they're Batsy enough for you. Those start/select/etc. buttons sure to look sexy enough to dance the Batusi.

Yeah for something related to batman, Power A really dropped the ball this time, or bat so to speak

I LOVE Batman but these do not do Him justice. They could be SOOO much better! I think some aesthetic upgrades should definitely be made b4 their release. They look like controllers from the 90s. And wired controller 4 the 360? Like...SERIOUSLY?!

yuck. what's the third button going to be used for in the middle of the 360 controller? I don't like that it has to be wired, the guide button looks odd, but the glowing handles are a nice touch

Also they look kinda weak...

they remind me of my Nintendo Gamecube Madcat controllers. that Batman PS3 controller version looks big compared to an actual PS3 controller and why is it a xbox 360 controller? i doubt many people r going to want to get them. specially PS3 owners.

Isn't that just an XBOX 360 controller with batman things and with ps triangle, square, x, circle buttons... No thanks it looks cheap, doesn't look like a Batarang (could've use another name), and it's the same design as an xbox 360 controller (which I don't like). I'll stick with my Dualshock 3 thank you very much.

It looks too big for PS3 and I wouldn't buy either one of them because they are ugly. When I pictured "Batarang controllers" I had this crazy thought that, I don't know, they'd look more like a Batarang. Silly me right?

The oringinal prototype silver Playstation 3 controller looks WAY more like a "Batarang" then this controller.

it looks to me that Power A made the 360 version and just changed the parts out for the PS3 version...I'm sure thats not the case but seeing how the PS3 version looks way to much like the 360 controller, thats what pops in my head
before I buy one I'll have to see it in person

The overall design and color sucks!n they look nothing like a batarang. And what's the deal with not making a wireless controller for the xbox 360 consumers? This seems like an epic fail of a product to. Me.
