Saints Row: The Third Release Date Announced

THQ has announced the release date for Saints Row The Third. We all knew it was coming, but none of us dared hope to get the announcement before E3. But, luckily for us we can now expect to see the 3rd Street Saints tear up Stillwater and new locale Steelport on... wait for it...November 15, 2011.

I've loved the Saints Row series thanks to its overstuffing of liquid nitrogen-level coolness and wicked over-the-top moments of guilty pleasure fun, so even this teensy morsel of a Saints Row 3 release date has got me drooling. Hopefully we'll get more info come E3, so make sure to check back for any updates!

The argument saying that GTA is a better game because of the sales......is like saying Avatar must be the GREATEST movie of all time......because look at the numbers.... stupid logic.

i am going to be soooo broke cause i am definitley getting SR3 the first day it hits the stores i love this game it is way better then GTA oh boy i just cant wait

It's so funny listening to some of you people blog. First off, Saints row is nothing more than a piggy back game from GTA. Let's face it, Rockstar games are the best creators of mass world free roam games.. Period! GTA is one of the most copied games out there on the market. Saints Row is ok but not great and could never compete with GTA. Your opinion does not prove that. It's all about sale numbers and you can compare both games and see Rockstar clearly trumps Volition, Inc. For you guys who think THQ is the creator your wrong, THQ is just the publisher of the game. Saints Row is just a fun in between game as I call it. It's a good subsitute till Rockstars upcoming games. Max Payne, Red Dead Redemption, GTA.. The leader of the pack in freeroam. Graphics are always more superb then they're competitors. I feel bad for assassin creed fans! Graphics are so poor on that game. After 3 games the 4th will finally have the graphics of GTA4.

And finally the dumb decision of releasing in November. There are only 2 games that are going to kill the market in that month, Saints row is not going to be one of those, neither will batman or skyrim lol. None of those games have a chance in hell against BF3 and the most dominating game release of the year and most anticipated and along awaited Modern Warfare 3. MWF3 is going to trump and flood homes threw out America and the entire world. Sorry Volition, Inc. and THQ, because of your constant release date change I took your game off reserve. I would have coasted SR3 till the release of mwf3 but since they choose to release just a few days after it I have no interest in it. Mwf3 has plans for many dlc in the same month of its release and after. That game will be played at a crazy pace by millions for the next 6 to 8 months. So for you naive dreamers who think skyrim and Saints Row and that pathetic Batman can compete with one of the largest releases in gaming history! I say good luck and come back to reality. The numbers prove the facts!

Love this franchise - If i had to choose between Saints Row and GTA, i would unhesitatingly select Saints Row. This is a day one buy for me.

Awesome franchise. The first two were not like San Andreas I read that somewhere and they're not sorry. I'm glad they have new graphics for it, the game needed it. Hopefully the vehicles have weight to them. Other than those few things it is awesome

They probably picked the worst possible time to release the game, I honestly can't see this going up against... The Elder Scrolls 5:Skyrim, Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3.
