Return to the world of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings as you rekindle your love for hobbits, elves and dwarves with developer Snowblind's Lord of the Rings: War in the North. This follow-up to the studio's previous Lord of the Rings title, Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest, promises a deeper RPG experience as well as a grander, more epic feel that delves deep into the mythology that's missing from the films and encourages cooperative play. As G4TV.com's own Kevin Kelly explains:
War in the North is a co-op game, where up to three players can take control of a character and battle their way through the game. A nifty icon system on the lower left will let you know what your cohorts are up to, so you can berate them for checking out the inventory screen while you're in the thick of battle. You can play as Eradin, a ranger who is good with a bow, Andriel the magic user, or Farin the dwarf-tank, and since the game is an RPG at heart, you can upgrade your skills, weapons, and armor along the way.
Our Aragorn's Quest review was not particularly kind, but the good news is that Snowblind is a studio that seems determined to grow and improve, a sense definitely given by our preview. And hey, if you're not convinced? Check out our whole Lord of the Rings: War in the North preview for yourself!

plz answer my question, is this at home co-op or online co-op or is it both?
Phiros
Snowblind did not develop Aragorn's quest. They did however develop the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and the 2 Champions of Norrath games based in EverQuest's world back on the PS2. All 3 of which were pretty good games.

Its really stupid to only allow 3 coop players. It's 2011 you should be able to handle 4. I know its based on the 3 races, but where are hobbits or a wizard, or why cant you have 2 of the same race.
Motino
This is one that I really hope turns out good.
All the previews that I've seen so far are VERY promising IMO
