Nintendo announced a price-cut for the Nintendo DS Lite this morning. Beginning June 5, the old-school Nintendo portable will retail for $99. That's down from $129, the current price of a DS Lite.
It's not surprising that the DS Lite would be coming in so cheap; with the release of the 3DS, the DS Lite is technically two-generations old, if you include the Nintendo DSi. Still, a sub-$100 Nintendo DS Lite seems like a huge bargain, which is testament to the power of the system.
